Come and stay with us, and your home-from-home for the week will be Chalet Emma, situated a mere 30 seconds roll from the lift in Peisey. We’re right slap-bang in the middle of the whole Les Arcs/La Plagne ski area, giving us quick access to lots of stunning singletrack on either hillside.

With a huge living room opening out onto an almost equally huge balcony and garden, all en-suite bedrooms (6 twin, one double), you can be sure you’ll have a most comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.

At the end of the day, there’s a trail leading directly to the chalet door, where you’ll find a bike wash and a huge garage equipped with all the tools you’ll need. Help yourself to a beer from the beer fridge and tinker away to your heart’s content, getting your bike spruced up and ready for the next day’s riding.

Even if you’ve completely gorged yourself on afternoon tea (or beer!) and cake whilst sorting your bike, you can look forward to a filling and tasty evening meal each evening. We’ll serve up some delicious homecooked numbers fresh from the kitchen, along with beer and wine to accompany your meal.

Breakfast each morning will set you up nicely each day, with a choice of cereals, porridge, fresh fruit, fresh bread and as much freshly brewed coffee as you need to get you going in the morning (plus tea of course!).

We’ll sort you out with lunch for our 5 guided days, you’ll get a big tasty sandwich put together by our resident Sandwich Master (also known as David), normally accompanied by a piece of fruit, a snack bar or flapjack and a packet of crisps.

On Wednesdays we have the day off, but you’ll still get breakfast and we can give you some recommendations as to where to go for lunch and dinner.

Although there’s space for more at Chalet Emma, we like to get to know our guests properly, so there’ll only be up to 10 folk staying each week. You’ll never feel crowded round the dinner table, and with any luck you’ll make some new riding buddies for back home too.

Wondering what to do on staff day off? Riding bikes is the obvious option, or you could treat yourself to a massage with Bryony from Alpine Hands – based a mere couple of doors away from the chalet. Have a look at her website here for an idea of treatments and prices. Other options including white water rafting, para-gliding, swimming (we can give you details about these activities) sun-bathing and drinking coffee 😉 .
